About the Role:
Are you a skilled Flooring Installer with a passion for quality workmanship? At Homely Flooring, we’re looking for dedicated individuals to contribute to our reputation for excellence and help meet the growing demand for our services. As part of our team, you’ll work on a variety of projects, from residential homes to commercial spaces, ensuring every installation exceeds expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and level subfloors according to industry standards for hybrid, vinyl plank, and engineered timber flooring
- Install hybrid, vinyl plank, and engineered timber flooring according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices
- Install skirtings, trims, and other accessories
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized worksite while adhering to workplace health and safety standards
- Communicate with clients and team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience 5 years + in flooring installation across either hybrid, vinyl plank or engineered timber products
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Physical fitness to perform flooring installations efficiently and safely
- Current driver’s license and reliable transport
- QBCC (hard sector) license desirable
